What Everyone Should Know About 5G Networks

Should we be afraid of the new 5G technology?
What everyone should know about 5G networks

What are 5G networks and are they dangerous to our health? In this article you can get the answer to that!

Several experts have attracted our attention to the new 5G networks, which are on the verge of being implemented worldwide. Many scientists claim that this technology will cause serious problems for our health and create electromagnetic pollution.

For a while now, people have been talking about 5G networks. They are, as the name suggests, fifth generation networks. But they have some striking differences compared to previous generations. Many doctors and healthcare professionals warn of their potential risks to our health.

Technological advances are hard to reverse. Once they have been invented or developed, there is no going back. And although we could, when the invention involves a large financial investment, there is no going back. 5G networking will not be an exception either. They have come to stay… until the next generation of course.

However, many experts believe that 5G networks pollute too much and can create harmful effects on humans and all ecosystems as a whole. They say that there should at least be access to equal and sufficient information on the subject.

What is 5G technology?

5G technology allows wireless connections between all types of devices. It comes with such high speeds as we have never seen before and they are able to handle a very high volume of traffic.

In other words, 5G networks work at full speed, where a large number of devices are connected simultaneously. This technology will also greatly expand the “Internet of Things” (IoT). It will allow you to control all possible remote devices with your mobile phone.

So far so good. The problem is that 5G networks will require a change in infrastructure. They require a huge installation of thousands of small antennas, the size of which varies from the diameter of a five-crown to the size of a frisbee. Because of that, they will be everywhere, running all the time and according to some creating a cloud of constantly rising pollution.

One of the most problematic things is that many antennas have to be down to ground level. There will probably be a distance of 100 m between them to ensure a stable connection. Moreover, according to the latest regulations, no one will be able to know exactly where they are located.

The effects of 5G networks on our health

There are still no definitive conclusions on the effects of the electromagnetic waves on our health. But there is a particular suspicion of it. For example, in 2011 the WHO classified the microwaves from Category 2B mobile phones. It means “potentially carcinogenic.”

Similarly, several independent studies have shown that these waves produce general oxidative stress. It can be the cause of several diseases for us.

Dr. Magda Havas, a professor of social sciences at the University of Toronto and Trent, says there is evidence that such waves can alter cell function.

There is also the Mobi-Kids survey, which was conducted with children and young people. Electromagnetism may obviously be responsible for an increase in the number of brain tumors among young people. But the results have still not been made public.

Reality or fiction?

Another worrying aspect of 5G networks is that they have a huge potential for monitoring people. Their stability, volume and speed allow them to carry out a detailed study of everything we do. They can even collect information on how many times you open the fridge or dry your hair.

Another striking fact is that the two main countries that have declared 5G networks to be the subject of state interest are China and the United States. There seems to be a bitter battle for control of this new technology.

As it stands today, none of those who defend the idea of these technologies have been able to present any evidence of their views.

On the other hand, there are official documents that warn against the possible dangers of electromagnetic fields. One of them was published by the European Academy of Environmental Medicine in 2016.

The most important thing about it all is that we all need to be widely informed on the subject. Those who ask for more debate on the subject are absolutely right. We all have the right to know whether 5G networks can harm us or not.

In the meantime, be careful about children and their access to cell phones. For the sake of the children, you should make healthy habits and find time to disconnect the technology and enjoy quality time with family and friends.
